Okay so today I just realized my husband is going to be gone with weekend while I am supposed to be ovulating. HOW DO YOU BD with out your husband?? As soon as I got home for lunch and he sat down I told him I was mad at them. He had no idea why. ... I said you are going to be done this weekend and we are supposed to be trying to conceive this weekend. He just laughed and said good thing we can try every month. Wrong thing to say.
I am in the process of uploading a few TTC and Baby Vlogs on youtube. Check out www.youtube.com/jj10361 if you would like to watch some of those videos. Disclaimer *** These are my first videos so be nice to me. They aren't very good.
Have a great night. It is BEAUTIFUL here.

Wedding
YAHH!!
So last Saturday (4/2/11 ) I got married to my best friend. Things have been VERY busy the last couple of weeks. I hate to say this but I am glad it is over. I want my house back to normal. Before the wedding I have TONS of books all over my house about the wedding. Bring on the thank you cards. I have no idea how I am going to get all the notes in the mail this week. I have over 75 thank yous to get out. I started on them tonight and I got two done and I stopped because I got bored. :(
Bring on the babies. So now it is time to start a family. I have been living with my husband for over 4 years now so we don't need the adjustment time like most newly weds would need. We have talked about and I feel we are both ready to start a family. (I have already started to purchase cloth diapers and baby clothes) Yes I said Cloth Diapers. Everyone thinks I am nuts but it is what I want to do to reduce my carbon foot print. I was reading now long it takes diapers to decompose and I couldn't believe it. If we don't change are ways our grand children will be walking around on dirty diapers. Okay enough lecturing. We aren't in high school anymore.
I uploaded my first youtube vlog tonight. It was the weirdest feeling to talk to a computer. I made sure my husband was gone so he wouldn't make sure of me. He thinks I am weird for posting blogs and vlogs online. We will see what happens. I will have to make lists to talk about because I don't like pausing to think about that to talk about.
Have a great night. The weather is so BEAUTIFUL here. 75 degrees tomorrow!! :)

First Organic Shopping Trip
Happy Monday....
Well so I was sick all weekend. I didn't want to move but I really wanted to go shopping to look for organic foods. So I decided I would at least try and go look. So I drove over an hour to Sioux Falls to look around. I started my trip started at Target. I really didn't feel good and I was FREEZing so I really didn't look for anything organic while I was there. (I did look at the baby clothes. I mean how could I resist.) After that I got lost in Sioux Falls. Thank god I had my Garmen with me. I found this Coop organic food store. I walked in and had no idea what I was looking at. I did go online and watched a tour of the store but it didn't do justice. Take a look http://www.coopnaturalfoods.com/ So I found someone to help me. Everyone was so nice. The lady walked me around and helped me find what I was looking for. (I really had no idea what I was looking for.) So here is what I got-
Green Beans .41 lbs $1.88
Russet Potatoes 2.2 lbs $2.62
Yogurt x4 $1.15 each
Eggs $3.95
Tomatoes 1.23 lbs $5.28 (This was kind of a waste of money. The tomatoes were hard) (Out of season)
Baby Carrots $1.79 (The bag was smaller than a normal bag of carrots)
Foulds Pasta Spaghetti $.76 (Small meal for two people. With a salad it would be the perfect size)
Wheat Free Spaghetti $3.19 (gluten free)
Bulk Parmesan Cheese $2.01
Chicken Broth $3.99
Bananas 1.77lbs $2.28
Cinnamon $1.70 (By far the best smelling Cinnamon I have ever smelled. I will let you know how it tastes)
Honey Roasted Peanut Butter .2lbs $.50
Corn Meal $.52
Elbow Paste .68lbs $1.90
Long Grain Rice .71 lbs $1.41
Fruit Leather $.69 x 4
Apple Rings $1.28
Fruit Snacks $.99 x4
So my total was $53.73. It was very much worth all the money. If you don't bring your own bags for bulk items in you will spend $.10 per bag you use. I wasn't aware of that when I went but next time I will bring my own bags.
The best part about the shopping trip was the peanut butter. You grind your own peanut butter right there. You can decide how much you want. I am really excited to try it on toast.
Kevin and I tired one the strawberry fruit snacks when I got home and they were really good. They didn't have the waxy feeling most fruit snacks have. Later on we tried a fruit leather. It wasn't that good. It really didn't have a sweet taste like I thought it would. I will have to try the other flavors and let you know how they taste.
Also I got the box of fruit I order on Thursday. It really wasn't worth the money. There were 8 assorted apples, 6 pears, 3 oranges, 4 Clementine looking things, 3 kiwi, and a grape fruit. Everything looked really good. I had to leave the pears out of a couple of days so they could ripen up.
Oh yah...Go Steelers.....I almost had a heart attack in the fourth quarter when the Jets were charging down the field.

First Blog EVER
This first blog will be a getting to know me blog. Really boring if you ask me but I know everyone needs to know the "basics."
Hello, my name is Jessica. I am from Iowa. I was born in Ohio and moved to Omaha, NE when I was 18 years old. After living there for a year I moved to the hometown of my now Fiance (wow it is still weird to call him that) We have been together for almost six years now. We will be married on 4/2/11.
I have two cats and a dog. I will probuly talk about A LOT about them. I love my animals. I would be the crazy cat/dog lady if I could. I hate to see animals on the street. My oldest cats name is Shotzie. She will be 5 on 1/29 and Gunner will be 5 on 7/28. Yes I know when my cats were born. We got them from the Humane Society in Omaha and those dates were on the sheet when got with the cats. I think they just made up a date but we will roll with it. Brutus is my 2 year old English Bulldog. My boyfriend...Fiance has never had a dog before so getting an English Bulldog has been something new for him. We learn new things about him everyday. For one...he hates it when we leave him home alone. Go figure. He LOVES cardboard. Everytime we leave him out when we are gone he seems to find some kind of cardboard. Sometimes I don't even know where he got it from/or what it was to begin with.
I love to cook, watch football (mostly the Steelers), watch Duke basketball, sleep (lets be honestly everyone does but at least I admit it) I hate to clean. I love to camp. I purchased a camper last year for my birthday. It was the best present I ever got myself...hehehe I also watch a ton of You Tube videos. I haven't gotten the gutts to start my own channel but hopefully blogging will help me get over my fear.
The reason I want to start blogging is to get my story out there. I am really no different than everyone else but I am not afraid to be honest (sometimes brudally honest) about life.
I am trying to get healthy before I get married. I have started buying organic fruits. Okay so I went online and bought a box of fruit but it is a start. When I told Kevin (fiance) how much it costs he flipped out. $38 for 25 peices of fruit is a litttttleeee high. I won't be purchasing boxes for fruit anyone but I am going to start really putting an effort into my health. I am going to try to stop drinking Diet Coke (as I have one at my desk right now) and drink more water. I want to be a healthy as possible so we get married and start to think about having children I won't have to worry about what I am eating I will already be eatting right. I figure if I cut out diet coke and drink water (free) and cut coupons I can off set the cost of the organic foods. I also plan to cloth diaper our children when that time comes. I tell people that in our small town and they all laugh at me. I am going to do this if it kills me just because people don't think I can do it. I know that isn't the best reason but hey if it keeps me going so be it.
Well so that concludes my first ever blog. I hope it was a little bit interesting and you will stay tuned for my next blog.
